Finland has a freedom of religion. Everyone has the right to follow and practise a religion and express his or her faith. Around 75% of the Finnish are Christians. The Finnish national churches are the Evangelical Lutheran and Orthodox Churches.
The Evangelical Lutheran Church comprises around 74% and the Orthodox Church around 1.1% of the Finnish, respectively.
Around 1.3 %of the Finnish belong to registered religious movements, the largest of which include the Jehovah's Witnesses, Evangelical Free Church, Finnish Catholic Church, Seventh Day Adventist Church and Pentecostal Church of Finland. In addition, there are communities of other religious traditions in Finland, such as the Islam, Judaism, Buddhism and Hinduism.
