A proposal has been submitted to the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom) to prohibit travel by combustion-engine watercraft on Lake Lintumaanjärvi and Lake Kallijärvi in the Hämeenlinna area. The prohibition would not apply to electric watercraft under 2 kW.
The notice and other documents related to the proposal were published on Traficom’s website on 9 October 2026, where they will remain available for viewing during the notice period of 9–30 October 2026. Notification is deemed to have been received on the seventh day after the notice was published.
Those affected by the proposal have the right to submit a comment. Instructions for submitting a comment can be found in the notice.
