City Board decisions 14 September 2026

The agenda of the City Board meeting can be found in the administration’s publication service. The City Board made the following decisions at its meeting:

§ 288 Removal of the right to appoint members to the Board of the Hämeenlinna Special Housing Foundation and termination of board duties

The City Board decided to

1. to approve, for its part, the amendment of the rules of the Hämeenlinna Special Housing Foundation so that the city’s right to appoint members to the Board is removed, provided that the city is first released from its guarantee liabilities concerning the foundation.
2. that the board duties of the members appointed by the city to the Board of the Hämeenlinna Special Housing Foundation end on the day the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) registers the amendment to the foundation’s rules removing the city’s right to appoint board members.

§ 289 Appointment of a new deputy member to the Council for the Elderly

The City Board appointed Jaakko Lindén as deputy member representing Hämeenlinnan Sotainvalidit ry to the Hämeenlinna Council for the Elderly.

§ 290 Responses to the auditor’s report on the 2025 audits

The City Board decided to note the responses to the auditor’s report presented in the attachment.

§ 291 Responses to the recommendations of the 2025 evaluation report

The City Board decided to

1. approve the reports prepared by the committees and the Group and Vitality Services
2. propose to the City Council that it note the reports received on the measures prompted by the evaluation report.

§ 292 Land use agreement, amendment to the local detailed plan 109 2649, Tuulos sledge factory, Tuulos

The City Board decided to approve the land use agreement made between the City of Hämeenlinna and Puusepänliike Hannes Oy.

§ 293 Amendment to local detailed plan No. 2649, Tuulos old sledge factory, Pappilantie 11, approval stage

The City Board decided to propose to the City Council that it approve plan proposal No. 2649.

§ 294 Council motion on catchment-specific filtering of stormwater / Jarkko Naulanen, Kirsi Ojansuu-Kaunisto, Teijo Pullinen and others

The City Board decided to propose to the City Council that the Council decide

1. to note the attached report.
2. to declare the council initiative as fully processed.

§ 296 Administrative Court decision, termination of lease agreement on property 109-404-1-34, Oy Teboil Ab

The City Board noted the Administrative Court’s decision.
