Join the “Eläköön ikärikkaus” wellbeing course
The City of Hämeenlinna, in cooperation with the Oma Häme Ikä Iloiten project, is organising a wellbeing course for Hämeenlinna residents aged 60–75. The “Eläköön ikärikkaus!” wellbeing course gives participants the chance to strengthen their own wellbeing and gain new perspectives to support a good everyday life.
The course’s pilot group will meet on six Wednesdays in spring 2027: 27 January, 10 February, 3 March, 24 March, 14 April, and 5 May, from 1–4 pm. A follow-up meeting will also be held in autumn 2027.
The aim of the course is to provide an opportunity to pause and focus on your own wellbeing, offer peer support across different areas of holistic wellbeing, and increase awareness of ways to maintain your own resources, capabilities, and functional ability as you age. The course covers themes such as meaningfulness in life, mental wellbeing, health-supporting lifestyle habits, safe housing, brain health, and practical matters that support everyday life. The goal is to offer information, peer support, discussion, and practical tips to support your wellbeing.
