Public procurement workshop to be held in November
The public procurement workshop will be held on Tuesday, November 17, from 9 to 11 am on Teams. The workshop will give you up-to-date information on public procurement, and you can take part in a shared discussion.

The workshop will be led by Sanna Meronen-Vilenius, procurement advisor at Häme Entrepreneurs.
- 9:00 Opening of the event and greetings from entrepreneurs
- Marko Ahtiainen, CEO of Häme Entrepreneurs
- Upcoming procurements by Oma Häme
- Upcoming procurements by the City of Hämeenlinna and TyöHäme Employment Area
- Changes to the Procurement Act and the EU’s proposed procurement regulation
- Tatu Kärhä, lawyer at the Association of Finnish Municipalities, and Tiina Toivonen, Head of Legislative Affairs at the Federation of Finnish Enterprises
- Electronic auctions in public procurement
- Mikko Tuomas, Procurement Manager at Oma Häme, and Jouni Sakomaa, Director of Procurement and Quality Management
- Participant engagement in smaller groups
- 11:00 Closing of the event
The workshop is organised in cooperation with the City of Hämeenlinna, Oma Häme, TyöHäme Employment Area, Linnan Kehitys, Häme Entrepreneurs, Hämeenlinna Entrepreneurs, and the Häme Chamber of Commerce.
