Smart Work 2025: Reading Together
The Smart Work page presents everyday innovations and success stories developed by the employees of the City of Hämeenlinna.
The goal is to promote pupils’ interest in reading, motivation, and the development of literacy skills. Our school’s Literacy Team came up with the idea to develop the Reading Together operating model for all of us to use. The Reading Together model clearly and concisely outlines the objectives of the activity, along with general tip lists and grade-specific suggestions to help achieve these goals.
The purpose of this operating model is to serve as an inspiring everyday tool for teaching, learning, and cooperation with guardians and other partners. The Reading Together model brings together previously scattered information and new ideas, providing the opportunity to update information as needed. The operating model is accessible to everyone in our school’s operational and development plan.
