Smart Work 2027: Developing an Operating Model for Multilingual Business Advisory Services
The Smart Work page presents everyday innovations and success stories developed by employees of the City of Hämeenlinna.
The number of international clients in business advisory services has grown, and clients’ backgrounds, language skills, and service needs are very diverse. In client work, a need was identified to develop operating methods that facilitate communication, improve the clarity of information, and support the establishment and development of businesses.
Customer-oriented operating methods have been developed for business advisory services to meet the needs of international clients. The advisory services have utilized clear communication and multilingual guidance, and have compiled easily accessible instructions for starting and developing a business. The goal has been to make services more accessible and streamlined.
Clients have received the information they need more clearly and comprehensively than before. Service processes have become smoother, and clients’ affairs have been advanced more efficiently. At the same time, the impact of advisory work has been strengthened as clients have more easily found the correct services and official channels.
Operating methods are being further developed based on client feedback and practical experience. The goal is to strengthen accessible business advisory services, develop guidance materials, and share proven best practices for other experts to utilize.
