Smart Work 2027: TyöHäme Employment Area Fair Employer Certificate

The Smart Work page showcases everyday innovations and success stories developed by City of Hämeenlinna employees.

I wanted to highlight the diverse recruitment practices of employers and, through these experiences, encourage other employers to adopt diverse recruitment as well. Some job seekers are clearly in a more challenging position regarding employment, but they possess a great deal of potential that should definitely be recognized and utilized.

The TyöHäme Employment Area Fair Employer Certificate has been created, and the TyöHäme Guarantee service has been linked to it. The service has been widely advertised across various TyöHäme Employment Area channels and as part of the TyöSuomi project. Seven certificates have been awarded since the beginning of the year, and employer awareness of this has begun to grow. Employers have been featured on social media, and awareness of the certificate has been actively promoted through various channels.

Awareness of the Certificate and, through it, customized work, job design, and TyöHäme Employment Area recruitment support has increased. On social media, certificate updates have clearly been the most liked, and people are interested in these stories. Hopefully, this has also encouraged other employers to adopt more diverse recruitment solutions and supports different types of hiring. This provides visibility for the TyöHäme Employment Area and the project.

Information sharing will continue, with more outreach to workplaces. Duunimedia is working on longer features of the first five employers to receive the certificate, and existing advertisements and videos about the certificate will continue to be shared. The work will continue under the TyöSuomi project until the end of 2027, and hopefully, this will become a permanent practice and service that remains in use for the TyöHäme Employment Area.
