Settlement of Häme Organization

Low-threshold service guidance and counseling in plain Finnish for various life situations.

Assistance and advice are provided on integration-related matters, such as:

• guidance on residence-related matters and the use of the Enter Finland service
• studying the Finnish language
• housing-related matters
• the use of electronic services
• filling out forms

The Finnish language groups of the Settlement of Häme Organization are open and free of charge for all young people and adults, regardless of language background or age.

In the groups, the basics of the Finnish language are learned in an accessible way, and participants become familiar with Finnish society and customs together with the help of volunteers. It is possible to join the groups mid-term, and no pre-registration is required.

Men’s activities are substance-free, open, and free of charge, specifically designed for men. The activities are planned and implemented by the men together with the instructors.

Men’s Space Ukkonen offers coffee, tea, the daily newspaper, the opportunity to use a computer and printer, and pleasant company on weekdays. Ukkonen also occasionally features programs led by volunteers.
