Ahvenisto Playground, Olympiakatu 20
- The playground is fully fenced and offers diverse play opportunities. In the summer, the water play area is a hit. The natural surroundings also make the place very pleasant. Services, a Lappish hut (kota), and other outdoor activities allow for spending long periods of time there. A perfect place for the summer.
- The favorite was the climbable pirate ship with its “traps.” There are also swings for many needs, and the children were keen to try them all.
- A pleasant surprise in the park is how well play-goers of different ages have been taken into account.
- The park is easy to reach, especially by car. Although it is close to the city center, walking with children is not the easiest task, as the hills cannot be avoided.
- The park and its surroundings are suitable for all ages.
The playground made me feel happy, and the best part was swinging. The pirates have made some pretty difficult traps here.

Ritvalanpuisto Playground, Ritvalankatu 12
- The park is located in a quiet area and has plenty of space for activities. It was renovated a few years ago and features a wide variety of play equipment.
- The ground trampolines were fun to bounce on, the large mound slide provided good speed, and even mom could join in on the family swing.
- There were already some sand toys available in the sandbox. The park also has a small gravel field with space to play games or, for example, practice cycling. The park also has a nice amount of trees and rocks to climb on.
- The park is located in the middle of a residential area and is easily accessible on foot or by balance bike. A few cars can fit at the edge of the park, on the other side of the fence. It is a short walk from Aulangontie, so the park is also easily accessible by bus.
- The park offers activities for both small and older children.
The most fun part was jumping on the tramp and going down the big slide. Everything was fun.

Kortteenpuisto Playground, Messupolku 6
- There is plenty to explore on multiple levels in the park for a long time.
- The large, tilted, rotating tire carousel was a balance test for the whole family. Children loved climbing on the pyramid climbing frame, and the climbing wall provided a nice challenge for older children.
- The park is built on a slope across several levels and is perfect for children who love climbing.
- Parking is 200 meters away; follow Kaskikaarre to the walkway between the houses. Finding the park for the first time can be challenging.
- The park is suitable from preschool age to early teens, as there is so much to do! Adults might also find themselves moving quite a bit between levels while following smaller children. The park also has baby swings and small slides. You can move between levels with a stroller via a ramp.
I think this park is a total 10/10.

Talvitie Playground, Talvitie 19
- The “adventure course” in the middle of the park and the forest path next to it were great for eating snacks on the rocks and exploring nature.
- The large rotating tire swing and the zip line were favorites.
- The park had sand toys available for everyone to use. The forest path was a nice addition. Adults also enjoyed participating with the children on the balance course.
- The park is located at the end of a small dead-end street, and there is hardly any parking space. The park is a bit secluded and can be difficult to find if you don’t know the location.
- We had children aged 5–13 with us, and there was something for everyone. Additionally, the grass field next to the park provided a nice extra space for the oldest children to kick a football and do cartwheels. The whole family enjoyed the mini forest trip and the balance course. For the smallest ones, there is a sandbox with toys, a baby swing, and a ladybug rocker. The rotating tire swing is a specialty of the park that all children and adults enjoyed.
I want to come back here again right yesterday.

Seitsemän veljeksen Playground, Liivuorentie
- One of the best things about the park is that it is fenced. It is safe to be there with the smallest and most active children, as you don’t have to worry about them running into the road.
- The selection of play equipment is diverse, and there is plenty to do for both small and slightly older children. The biggest hits were the trampoline, the seesaw, and the zip line.
- The park is beautifully built, respecting the surrounding nature. Natural materials and elements, such as stones, have been used in the play equipment. As a happy surprise, birds and squirrels also played with us in the park.
- The park’s location is quite good. You can reach the vicinity by bus, and there are good sidewalks and cycling routes in the area. The only downside is that there is no actual parking lot for drivers in the immediate vicinity of the park.
- All in all, the park is great for children aged approximately 0–10. It is wonderful how toddlers, preschoolers, and primary school children have all been considered in the playground’s design.
The best things in the park were the seesaw and the trampoline; it’s a good park because it has good stuff.

It’s a good park because there’s a trampoline. There was also muddy water to play with.
