Hämeenlinna’s tourist attractions and exercise facilities featured on renewed website

The City of Hämeenlinna’s website was renewed in October 2026. As part of the renewal, information about tourism and exercise sector businesses will be brought to the city’s website from national databases.

Tourism entrepreneur – add or update your information in DataHub

The renewed visithameenlinna.fi tourism pages will from now on only display tourism services that have been added to Visit Finland’s DataHub database. This applies, for example, to hotels, restaurants, program services, attractions, and other services aimed at tourists.

In addition to Visit Finland, DataHub is also used regionally by Visit Häme and Visit Lakeland. The city no longer maintains tourism businesses’ information on its own website; instead, businesses are themselves responsible for adding and keeping their information up to date in DataHub.

Adding and maintaining information in DataHub is free of charge. If your business’s information is not yet in DataHub, add it now to ensure your visibility on the Visit Hämeenlinna and Visit Häme websites going forward. If your business is already registered in DataHub, please check that your information is up to date.

You can find more information about DataHub and login instructions at: https://visithame.fi/datahub/ and Visit Finland DataHub.

DataHub training on 9 November, 1–2 pm

We are organizing a DataHub training session for tourism industry operators on 9 November, 1–2 pm. The training will be held online. Read more and sign up for the training.

For questions about DataHub, business specialist Annamaria Laine is happy to help: annamaria.laine@linnan.fi.

Exercise sector entrepreneur – add or update your information in Lipas

Going forward, we want to showcase the city’s diverse exercise opportunities even better. Information about Hämeenlinna’s exercise and nature destinations will be brought in from the national Lipas sports facility database, and the locations will also be shown on a map.

The city maintains information about its own exercise facilities in Lipas, and exercise sector businesses can add their own facilities to the system. For example, information about gyms, padel courts, and riding stables can be registered in Lipas. This way, basic information and locations of exercise facilities can also be brought to the city’s website as part of the overall exercise and leisure services.

Adding and maintaining information in Lipas is free of charge. If your business’s information is missing from Lipas, take a look at the service and add it to the system. Registration and data entry instructions can be found in the Lipas service.

Keep your information up to date

The city cannot add or edit businesses’ information in DataHub or Lipas. Each business is responsible for the accuracy and up-to-dateness of its own information.

On the renewed city website, businesses’ information is presented as part of the tourism, exercise, and leisure service offerings. So check now that your business’s information can be found in the correct service and is up to date.
