Ykköskortteli is centrally located in the grid plan center of Hämeenlinna. The block is bordered by Kasarmikatu to the west, Hallituskatu to the north, Sibeliuksenkatu to the east, and the Reska pedestrian street to the south.
The City of Hämeenlinna is seeking builders and developers for the area in cooperation with A-Insinöörit. The objective is to develop Ykköskortteli and identify suitable implementers for the project.
The market dialogues commenced with an introductory information session held on March 6, 2026. The event was the first phase in a series where the city discusses the project with interested operators. The dialogues will continue through individual meetings.
