Outreach youth work

Outreach youth work supports young people under the age of 29 who require assistance with arranging their daily life or deciding on their future. You can receive free, voluntary and confidential support when life feels overwhelming or you are uncertain about your next steps.

Please feel free to contact us if:

• you hope for a change in a particular matter
• you are without housing (in Finnish), employment, a study place, daily routines or future plans
• leaving home and managing affairs feels difficult, or you feel lost in the complex network of services
• your military or non-military service has been interrupted
• your studies are about to be or have already been interrupted
• you are concerned about your own well-being or life situation
• or you simply wish to talk

You may contact us yourself or ask a loved one to do so. An educational institution or another party may also contact us on your behalf.

We can arrange a meeting at a time and place that suits you. We can, for example, meet for a coffee and plan the next steps together. You can also leave a contact request through the national yhteysetsivaan.fi service.
