The fields are accessible and located at ground level

Restroom, changing room, washing facilities, and sauna
– The accessible changing facilities for the fields are located in Loimua Areena, on the same floor as the entrance.
– The facility does not have a separate accessible changing room; the men’s/women’s changing rooms must be used instead. The changing room door opens easily by hand.
– The changing room has sufficient space to move around with a wheelchair and an assistant. Good lighting and contrasting colors make it easier to perceive the space. The changing room does not have lockers. An accessible restroom is located next to the changing room. There is also an accessible restroom in the lobby.
– The washing facilities are located next to the men’s/women’s changing room. The washing facility door opens easily by hand.
– The facility does not have a sauna.

The sports park offers a wide variety of facilities for different sports. The area includes a heated artificial turf field available for year-round use, as well as two other artificial turf fields, one of which has no infill. The area also has a sand-based artificial turf field for pesäpallo. A new artificial ice rink, completed in 2026, includes an ice rink area and a free skating area. The free skating area serves as tennis courts during the summer season.

Loimua Areena and Säästöpankki Areena are also located alongside the sports park, complementing the area’s sports and event services year-round. Loimua Areena is a versatile indoor sports and event center hosting ball games, gymnastics, trade fairs, and other public events. Säästöpankki Areena, in turn, offers year-round training facilities for football and athletics, as well as spaces for other sports.

Extensive field areas, indoor halls, and seasonally changing sports opportunities make Hämeenlinna Sports Park a versatile sports environment that serves hobbyists, sports clubs, schoolchildren, and event organizers alike on a daily basis. A new outdoor gym and a maintenance building have also been built in the area. The outdoor gym is available to users year-round, 24 hours a day.

The area has two parking lots. A large parking area for users is located near Loimua Areena and Säästöpankki Areena. Additional parking spaces can be found near the fields when turning onto Meijerikatu.

A new outdoor gym, opened in 2026, is located in the area near the artificial ice rink’s maintenance building.

The area’s tennis courts (3) are available during the summer season. Bookings are made through the booking calendar.
