Kaurialan MV Stadium

The stadium has renovated running tracks and a field area that meet today’s standards. The site also includes an outdoor gym, a fitness trail running around the stadium’s perimeter fence, and renovated fitness stairs, which complement the exercise opportunities available throughout the year.

Kaurialan MV Stadium is suitable for a wide range of uses. The venue serves sports clubs, schools, and residents for daily training, while also accommodating competitions, matches, and various public events.

Kaurialan MV Stadium is located in the heart of Kaurialan’s idyllic residential area. There are no parking spaces within the field’s gates, except for two accessible (disabled) parking spaces. There are plenty of street parking options in the Kaurialan area.

Kaurialan MV Stadium is equipped to host a wide variety of events at different levels. Among sporting events, the stadium is particularly well suited for athletics and football.

The area includes an outdoor gym, and a roughly 600-metre fitness trail, mostly surfaced with gravel, runs around the area. There are also two-lane fitness stairs on site. The local exercise facilities are available during the stadium’s opening hours and are open for free use by anyone exercising. Photos of the area can be found at the bottom of the page.

During events, the local exercise facilities may be closed to other users.

The athletics area is freely available for use outside of bookings. The grass area is not available for ball games outside of bookings.
Athletics equipment is available from the storage room at the south end of the service building. The equipment storage room is open during the summer opening hours.

Public restrooms are located in the service building, and changing rooms are at Matin Sauna. Please check the changing rooms’ opening hours on site.

Area and parking:
The area is accessible and located at ground level. The field has two accessible (disabled) parking spaces, and the vehicle gate is located at Brahenkatu 4.
The field is situated on a gravel ridge, and the terrain has significant variations in elevation. The sports field is bordered by cobblestone paving, except at the marathon gate.

Restrooms, changing area, washing area, and sauna:
– Public restrooms are located in the field’s service building. An accessible restroom is located in the service building.
– The field’s changing rooms are located at Matin Sauna.
– The changing rooms are not accessible.
– The changing room building is reached by stairs, with no ramp available.
– The outer door is heavy or otherwise difficult to open.
– The facility does not have a separate accessible changing area; the men’s/women’s changing rooms must be used instead. The changing room door opens easily by hand.
– The changing room has enough space to move around with a wheelchair and an assistant. Good lighting and contrasting colours make it easier to perceive the space. The changing room does not have lockers. There is no accessible restroom connected to the changing room.
– The washing area is connected to the men’s/women’s changing room. The washing area door opens easily by hand.
– The facility does not have a sauna.
