Tee Valley – four golf courses within a 15-minute radius

Hämeenlinna is known as the Tee Valley of Finland, and for good reason. Four golf courses of varying levels, set amidst beautiful cultural landscapes, serve both beginners and seasoned players. These courses offer unique settings for honing short games as well as wide fairways with water hazards.

In Hämeenlinna, the grass truly is greener on this side of the fence! Best of all, you have time to play all four courses during a single weekend. The courses are located only about fifteen minutes apart – and just an hour’s drive from the Helsinki metropolitan area and Tampere.

1. Vanajanlinna Golf

Our great source of pride is Finland’s only course in the PGA European Tour Destinations network, Vanajanlinna Golf, which spans a hundred-hectare area in the majestic scenery of historical Vanajanlinna. Operating in connection with the course is the high-quality, full-service Hotel Vanajanlinna, where you can find versatile accommodation options ranging from atmospheric rooms in the main castle to modern suites in the golf club area. In addition to golf and accommodation, Vanajanlinna Golf offers a journey into the world of flavors. The prestigious Carl Wilhelm Restaurant serves guests in the main castle, where you can enjoy the elegance of classic flavors and masterpieces of modern gastronomy.
