Youth Pass (Nuorisopassi)

Youth Pass can be accessed by young people whose guardian has given their consent through the Hellewi registration system. Permission is granted when the guardian registers the young person as a Youth Pass user. Adults can register themselves as app users.

First, register as a Youth Pass user. Once you receive an email at the address you provided during registration, stating that the application can be activated, you can enter your email address when the app is opened. You will then receive an activation code via email, which will allow you to use the application after activation.

All pupils on grades 5-9 in Hämeenlinna’s basic education.

The guardian must give their consent for the young person’s data to be transferred to the application. The data transferred includes first name, surname, group (e.g., school class), comprehensive school, and email. Data will not be disclosed to third parties. The guardian can give their consent through the Hellewi registration system, after which the young person can use the application.

Benefits and information about the City of Hämeenlinna’s youth leisure activities and opportunities for influence, such as hobbies, benefits, events, the activities of the youth council and employment services, and other services.

Here are some examples of benefits currently available in the application:

• Free admission tickets to swimming centres, theatres, and museums
  (e.g., Eräs Theatre, The Parola Armour Museum, Hämeenlinna City Museum, Iittala Glass Museum, etc.)
• Discounts on paid activities such as the movie theatre BioRex
• The application also includes all of Hämeenlinna’s Sports Timetables and
  hobby groups, as well as up-to-date information on cultural and sports events in the Hämeenlinna area.

New benefits are added continuously. Additionally, in Youth Pass, you will find Sports Timetable, Get Active Near You groups, HÄX events, and many other interesting things.

Benefits are available with varying validity periods during the current school year. Always check the validity periods of benefits within the application.

If you cannot find Youth Pass in the app store, your app store’s country settings may be set to a country other than Finland. The application is only available in Finland. You can change the country in your app store settings if you wish.

If you did not receive a confirmation message – check that your email inbox has space, and also check if your email inbox is currently receiving messages by sending an email to yourself from another address, for example. You can always check your own registrations for various hobby groups via this link (in Finnish).

If a young person does not have their own smartphone, Youth Pass can be downloaded to the guardian’s phone.
