It is the responsibility of the party commencing the construction project to apply for the final inspection to be carried out within the validity period of the granted permit.
Varmista yhdessä vastaavan työnjohtajan ja tarvittaessa pääsuunnittelijan kanssa, että edellytykset loppukatselmuksen toimittamiselle täyttyvät. Ehtoja toimittamiselle ovat mm:
the construction work has been completed according to the building permit and the regulations and provisions concerning construction,
the inspections and checks ordered by the building supervision authority, and the measures required therein, have been carried out,
the construction inspection document has been completed and the summary of the inspection document has been submitted to the building supervision authority, and
the building’s operation and maintenance manual is sufficiently complete and available for delivery to the building owner.
Once the conditions are met, add the notification of the fulfilment of the final inspection prerequisites to Lupapiste (in Finnish).
Apply for the final inspection from the electronic appointment calendar.
Participate in the final inspection.
Archive the final inspection report and other documents related to construction.
8. Extension for a building permit
If the construction work cannot be completed within the validity period of the building permit, the building permit will lapse. The party commencing the construction project may apply for an extension for commencing and completing the construction, or solely for completing it. The application must be submitted within the validity period of the building permit.
Upon application, the building supervision authority may extend the validity period of the permit by two years for commencing the work or by three years for completing the work.
