Lepaanranta
The rental cottages at Lepaanranta are located on the shore of Lake Vanajavesi in Iittala, within the Lepaanranta recreational area. The area offers excellent berry and mushroom picking grounds, as well as cross-country skiing and hiking trails right near the cottages.
The cottage area provides diverse outdoor recreation opportunities. The courtyard features a barbecue shelter, a dining shelter, a pit-roasting area, a woodshed, and two jetties from which you can swim in Lake Vanajavesi. The area also has a public swimming beach and a field where you can play football, pétanque, and volleyball, for example. Additionally, rowing boat berths, a guest boat jetty, and a boat launch are available.
Rental Properties
Available for rent are a large cottage, two smaller accommodation cottages, and a separate wood-fired sauna. The address for the cottages is Hartunkärjentie 156.
Rent a cottage primarily through the electronic booking system. Choose a suitable date and pay for the booking via online banking at the time of reservation.
If you are unable to use the electronic system, you can make a reservation at Hämeenlinna City Information Service Point Kastelli (Wetterhoffinkatu 2). In this case, payment is made at the time of reservation.

Please note the opening hours of the service points and be prepared to prove your identity. Both service points are closed on weekends. Therefore, you cannot practically make a reservation for a weekend start.
Winter Closure 1 December 2026 – 29 March 2027
Lepaanranta will be closed for winter from 1 December 2026 to 29 March 2027, during which time the properties will not be rented out.
