The feel of a small daycare centre, conveniently close by.

Kaivokatu Daycare Centre operates across two different sites: Saaristenkatu and Kanta-Voutila. Pre-primary education and the complementary early childhood education and care are organised at Seminaari Comprehensive School: effective cooperation and a shared daily life with basic education enable a smooth transition to the school world.

The Kaivokatu Daycare Centre sites have the feel of a small daycare centre. The daycare centre’s location allows for the versatile use of the surrounding areas in daily life, as everything is conveniently close. In the city centre, we go on excursions by foot to the market square, museums, castle, library, and parks. In Kanta-Voutila, the nearby nature, local parks, sports facilities, and forest are part of the groups’ daily routines. All our sites have a sports hall in active use by the children’s groups.
