Versatile learning environments in a rural landscape.

Lammi Daycare Centre is located in a rural setting in central Häme. Our daycare centre has early childhood education groups and two pre-primary education groups. One of our pre-primary groups is a nature-oriented forest group, which uses the daycare centre’s campfire hut as its base.

We take children’s interests and thoughts into account when planning and implementing activities. In addition to the group facilities, various games and forms of physical activity are encouraged by the versatile equipment in the daycare centre’s playground and climbing yard, the sports hall, the sports field, and trips to the local environment. Right next to the daycare centre, there are proper ski tracks and a skating rink in winter. The Lammi comprehensive school and the library are important partners for us.

Important values for us include encountering, listening to, and respecting one another. Guardians at Lammi daycare centre appreciate the permanent and committed staff, as well as functional learning, the warm atmosphere, and the child-oriented approach.

One group of children in our daycare centre operates with extended opening hours on weekdays between 5.30 and 22.30.
