A uniquely rich community of children and adults.

Liivuori daycare centre consists of five villages and one nature and physical education group. In each village, activities are based on group work, where children can grow and learn within the same group, with the same friends and adults. Pre-primary education operates as its own village.

The strength of our community lies in its many different cultures and an atmosphere that values diversity. It is important to us that children feel involved and capable. Our goal is for every child to have the opportunity to influence their own activities and be involved in planning a meaningful daily life within their own village.

At Liivuori Daycare Centre, school activities also become familiar and safe. We share facilities with Jukola Comprehensive School. We eat in the same dining areas as the school pupils every day and use the same sports hall.

Guardians value the way children are encountered at Liivuori Daycare Centre, as well as the fact that activities are planned based on the children’s thoughts, interests, and initiatives.
