Open activities

The open activities of Volunteer Center Pysäkki serve as a meeting place for all the aging residents of Hämeenlinna. You are warmly welcome to join us!

Pysäkki offers a wide range of activities in both the city center and the surrounding villages. View our weekly programme and join us.

You can receive up-to-date information about Pysäkki’s activities by subscribing to our monthly newsletter (in Finnish). Follow us also on Facebook and Instagram – you can find us under the username @vapaaehtoiskeskuspysakki.

Pysäkki’s weekly programme

Explore Pysäkki’s weekly programme and find activities that you enjoy doing. No pre-registration is required for the activities, with the exception of KulttuuriTreffit culture events.

Pysäkki’s activity groups generally operate independently; for example, in discussion groups, participants decide together which topics to discuss. Chair exercise sessions are led by a volunteer peer instructor, and group walks are usually accompanied by a Pysäkki volunteer.

PysäkkiHetket events held at Kumppanuustalo are an easy way to get to know Pysäkki’s activities. Check out the programme below and come hear about interesting topics over a cup of coffee!

Please note that changes to the programmes are possible. We update information about changes on our website as quickly as possible.
