Employment Section of the City Board

The City of Hämeenlinna is the responsible municipality for the TyöHäme Employment Area. The employment area includes Forssa, Hattula, Tammela, Jokioinen, Humppila, and Ypäjä.

The responsibilities of the Employment Section derive directly from the Employment Services Act and the Multi-Sectoral Promotion of Employment Act.

The meeting schedule of the Section is determined separately.

The Committee’s agenda is published the week before the meeting, and the minutes are published on the first business day following approval. Minutes are available on the administrative publishing platform for two years after the meeting.

Employment Section Members

The Employment Section is appointed by the City Board in agreement with the TyöHäme Employment Area. The Employment Section has 15 members and their personal deputy members.
