When you respond to surveys of the city or provide feedback, you directly influence how the services and the environment are developed. All feedback and every response help us in making better decisions and improving your everyday life.
Feedback
The city has a feedback channel that is open 24 hours a day. Through it, we receive approximately 5,000 pieces of feedback annually. About a third of the feedback relates to streets and traffic. The majority of the feedback consists of fault reports, such as reports of extinguished streetlights or proposals to improve the urban environment.
When you report a problem you have observed or provide a proposal for improvement, you help us fix deficiencies and improve the environment for everyone.
We regularly conduct customer surveys for service users. Recurring surveys include early childhood education and basic education surveys conducted in alternate years. In addition, we collect feedback on, for example, morning and afternoon activities, youth centres, museums, the library, and the activities of the Open Cultural Centre ARX.
By responding to customer surveys, you tell us what works well and where there is room for improvement in the specific services that you use.
Sampled resident surveys
Through the well-being survey, we collect information on how residents of different ages perceive their own well-being. Results from several years provide valuable trend data on the development of the city.
The well-being survey is implemented using a sample of 4,300 residents, taking into account the age and residential area of the residents. The next well-being survey will be conducted in 2027.
Open surveys
The city conducts several surveys that are open to everyone annually. With open surveys, we support planning, ensure the quality of services and hear the opinions of residents in situations of change.
Open surveys are implemented, for example, to support the planning of various projects and urban development sites, as well as in connection with strategy work and the development of exercise facilities.
