Luppo smoke sauna
Luppo Smoke Sauna is situated in a peaceful location on the shore of a small forest lake, right next to the Kelkutte logging cabin. The sauna offers a traditional smoke sauna experience and can accommodate approximately seven people at a time.
Booking and Payment
The sauna is available during the summer season from 1 May to 30 September. It will be heated and ready for your arrival, so please make your reservation at least three days in advance.
You can book the sauna only or combine your reservation with the rental of the Kelkutte cabin:
- Sauna session only, 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM: €250 (includes 25.5% VAT)
- Sauna in conjunction with cabin rental: €200 (includes 25.5% VAT)
Keys
You do not need a separate key. The sauna attendant will unlock the door before your arrival.
Location and Arrival
The address is Kelkutteentie 492, 17470 Maakeski. Please note that if you are coming from the direction of Hämeenlinna, you cannot reach the destination via the Evo area, as the road is closed.
From Road 24 (Lahti–Jämsä), turn onto Taruksentie. The junction is approximately 5 km north of the Padasjoki ABC service station. Continue along Taruksentie for 2 km, then turn left onto Kelkutteentie and drive for 5 km. The forest cabin will be on your left.
Poor Network Connection in the Area
Please bring a map to ensure you find your way easily. The area has a poor network and phone signal, so take a map with you, either printed or downloaded to your phone.
