Adapted Exercise Benefit

The Adapted Exercise Benefit offers an affordable opportunity for swimming and gym training for those whose ability to move is significantly limited by a disability.

The purpose of the benefit is to support equal opportunities to exercise, maintain functional capacity, and use exercise services independently.

The benefit can be used at the swimming centres in Hämeenlinna and Lammi, and their gyms, during the swimming centres’ opening hours.

Who is the benefit intended for?

The Adapted Exercise Benefit is intended for people with a significant disability who meet the conditions for granting the benefit.

Eligibility for the benefit can be verified with one of the following:

• EU Disability Card
• visual impairment card
• disabled parking permit
• taxi card for transport services under the Disability Services Act.

Purchasing the benefit

The benefit can be purchased at the checkout of the Hämeenlinna swimming centre or the Lammi swimming centre. Eligibility for the benefit is verified at the time of purchase.

Access is loaded onto your swimming wristband. If you do not yet have a wristband, you can get one at the same time.

Hämeenlinnan Liikuntahallit Oy reserves the right to change prices for gym passes and swimming centre multi-visit wristbands.
