Vexi Salmi Park
As its name suggests, Vexi Salmi Park honours the memory of lyricist-producer Vexi Salmi, who was born in Hämeenlinna.
The late Vexi Salmi, who passed away in 2020, spent his childhood on Rinkelinkatu, at the end of which the park named after him has been built. The park features a small performance area and seating, which honour Vexi Salmi’s life’s work. The park is therefore well-suited as a venue for small, low-threshold performances.
