Kantola Event Park

Kantola Event Park combines large event experiences with a park landscape on the shore of Lake Vanajavesi. Outside of events, the 9.5-hectare park area is open to everyone for outdoor activities and leisure.

From Sawmill Area to Event Park

Kantola Event Park was completed in summer 2015 on a former sawmill area. The industrial site was transformed into a venue for large public events and a recreational area for city residents.

The first major event in the park’s opening summer was an AC/DC concert, which brought tens of thousands of music lovers to Kantola.

A Venue for Various Events

Kantola Event Park offers space for concerts, festivals, exhibitions, fairs, and sports events. The area can be adapted for smaller occasions or large events accommodating up to 55,000 people.

Event stages and other structures are brought to the site as needed for each event. The open park area allows for diverse implementations and the demarcation of the area according to event requirements.
