Detailed plan alteration no. 2669.
The detailed plan alteration area is located between Lake Katumajärvi and main road 10 in the district of Katinen (17). The planning area consists of blocks 32–34, 37, 43, parts of blocks 35 and 41, property 109-418-1-82, and the associated green areas, protection green areas, conservation areas, and street areas. The planning area covers approximately 21 hectare.
The objective of the plan alteration is to convert the apartment building blocks and the shared housing block area in the northern part into detached housing. The apartment-building and detached house area in the southern part will be reduced and replaced with a block area for commercial buildings and industrial buildings that do not cause environmental disturbance.
The pumping station near the lake will be converted for housing. The noise entries along main road 10 will be reviewed.

The detailed plan alteration was initiated by a decision of the Urban Environment Committee on 16 June 2026.
