Detailed plan alteration no. 2644.
The aim of the plan alteration is to enable the development of the existing harbour area. The area near the harbour will allow for the placement of various functions, such as a travel parking facility. Sotkanranta and its surrounding area have an outdated detailed plan not corresponding to the area’s current or future functions.
Initiation stage
The local detailed plan alteration was initiated in the 2024 zoning review.
Draft stage
The Urban Environment Committee decided on 19 May 2026 to display the draft plan for a period of 30 days.
The draft plan was on display from 28 May to 26 June 2026
Proposal stage
The Urban Environment Committee approved the plan proposal at its meeting on 15 September 2026 and decided to display it.
The plan proposal is on display from 24 September to 23 October 2026
