In Myllymäki (district 7), a detailed plan alteration is being prepared for the Lahdensivuntie campus area, examining both infilling opportunities and the need for building preservation.
The planning is based on the Hämeenlinna City Centre Master Plan 2035 legally in effect. The zoning work explores the area’s development potential primarily for housing. The detailed plan alteration covers three properties and the four buildings located on them, including Ainola, Ilmarila, and Tapiola.
A building history survey is done for the buildings before preparing the plan draft.
